Alex’s Blog and Wolf Creek
Right, Alex gave me a shout out, so it is only fair that I give one back to her.
Her blog is located on blogger.com and she is one of the few people who read my blog. She is still learning this whole blog thing, but she is doing it surprisingly quickly.
She really knows how to listen to a person, but when she starts talking, I must admit, she is very amusing. Obviously, her blog will grow along with her (as had mine, since it is now two years since I started blogging) and I suggest that you check it out. She is really not your typical emo disaster-waiting-to-happen.
So, here is to Alex, and I hope you have fun in the blogosphere!
On another note, I went to see Wolf Creek with my firend, Mia. It was scary, yes, but where they got the 18 age restriction, I will never know. I mean, I have seen horrors much worse, rated 16. I mean, I am sorry, but the age restriction was ridiculous. There were no sex scenes, there were no obscene kissing, nothing!
But the fact that those events actually happened are horrible. At least, one can only assume so, because one of the characters, Ben, was actually found alive to tell the story. He was arrested, though, as if he were the guilty one. I am sorry, but the police are stupid. He was arrested and released after 4 months in custody. I mean, come on! He was crucified to a fence! Surely that must count as something!
Well, I don’t know. It was an interesting movie, but not something I will see twice.
But why did we (South Africa) only get it in 2007, when it was released in 2005! We don’t usually wait THAT long to see a movie, after America gets it. But this was an Australian film, so that is different, I suppose.
