Week of inspiration
This has been a really interesting week. I have been inspired to write many things this week, most of which are published on my blog. I have two poems and a monologue.
The first poem is Love Between Friends, and is a poem about the strong love between two friends. A very moving piece, if I may say so myself. My second poem is Granny Sarah; a hilarious portrayal of how how an old granny perceives the changes of the world. Both of these poems are in Afrikaans, though.
Finally (and the piece I am most proud of) I have written a monologue about a homosexual teenager and his struggles with God and his peers. He shoots himself because of his troubles and trying to escape it all. The monologue is called Look at me now.
I hope you enjoy these poems and the monologue because I sure had fun writing them.
