Ratanga Junction

Today was my outing to Ratanga Junction! and oh my word….it was SOOO much fun!
Here is a picture of me (in the yellow hat) and my friends.
Anyway, there were very little people there, so we got to ride all the rides without getting off and just going and going and going. The ride you see bove, we were on like 11 consecutive times. Also, the meanest rollercoaster around, the cobra, which has a top sped of 120 KM/h (74.2 M/h)
The scariest ride of the day, was the human cattapult. You have to pay extra for becasuse it is a very complicated ride. i will talk you through it.
You walk in and you pay the money, the they put this wierd whole-body strap around you with this white pole thing hanging by your feet. Then you move to a podium, and then you are instructed to put your feet through the pole, which pulls the stap tight, and you must keep your feet there, which is the only mercy for you not to fall out of the suite. Then they tell you to hold on to a long blue horizontal pole infront of you and then you suddenly fall forward. They tell you to let go and to other person hanging tightly next to you, to pull a rope.

Now, I was hanging there, about 2 meters from the ground, scaring myself to death, and Barry (my friend) was the one who had to pull the rope to doomsday. Then, you are lifted so far off the ground, that you cannot see the ground any longer! By this time I was screaming that I want to get off and that I don’t want to do this anymore. They would not listen!!! They signalled Barry to let the rope go which would make us fall, and i screamed to him (even though he was hanging tighly next to me) that if he lets go of that rope I would never talk to him again! I was in tears! I couln’t even see the ground anymore!!!!!!

Then, he let go, and I screamed my lungs out! He fell head first to the ground at a staggering rate, and then we started swinging forward at an amazing speed, and I was busy sending puke in every direction! We went flying over the river, going backards and forwatrds like on a disturbingly high and disturbingly evil swing/cattapult.

At last they told us we must grab onto a hoop to slow down and to come back down, which we did, and when I hit the ground, the people were cleaning the grass beneith us from the sick I protruded during the ride. They seemed to be used to doing this.

I was totally disturbed. Anyway, the rest of the day went a lot better, and i enjoyd myself a lot. I am goign there again next year!!!
