My Podcast
Nov 16th, 2005 Posted in Blog Entries | no comment »Well, my new podcast for my website, Virtual Hogwarts, VHC, is now online. I have uploaded my demo episode a few days ago, and my first official episode one will be online. You can check it out by clicking here:
Anyway, unfortunatly the website doesn’t look right in Internet Explorer, which is a pity, but IE is no longer W3C Complaint, meaning that some wbsites will no longer work on it, no matter what we do. So, if you are using it, i suggest you Get Firefox.
Also, everything is going well with the Podcast. It will, obviously take some time to get it off its feet, but I at least now have a second presenter, I have got shoutouts and I have crowd participation.
School is almost over. At least, the “exams” are almost over. We didn;t really write end of the year exams, we only did these government assesment thinys, which were utterly boring, but still better than an exam. So, Tuesday will be my first day as a free person. Monday the entire English High Grade class is goign to watch Shakespeare in Love. Tomorrow we are doing this “math picnic” meaning we go outside and have a mathematical picnic. This is probably to count the probability of leaves in summer srouting more on some trees than others….but at least I doubt that we will use Pi and all thsoe other stupid things.
I never told you this, but my subjects for next year are final. I can finally take what I want, and here they are:
Mathematical some-or-other-word
Afrikaans Home Language
English Home Language
Life Orientation
Those are the subjects I am forced to take. Here are my other subjects:
IT (Advanced Computer Training, aka Programming with JAVA etc.)
CAT (Basic computer skills, aka working with Word, Exel, Windows etc.)
Drama (Kinda self explanitory)
So, other than Life Orientation (Really, I am sick of hearing the word “AIDS”) I have quite enjoyable subjects. Not only that, but I am going to be with the new teachers which we are getting next year with all my subjects.
Anyway, to stop this post from becoming too long, I’ll stop and say goodbye. Until later!
